Asheboro Hole 10 GreenOriginally from North Carolina,  Tom is a graduate of Ferris State University's Professional Golf Management program.  Since becoming a member of the PGA in 1991, Tom has enjoyed helping people of all ages and backgrounds with their golf game.

Tom came to Asheboro Country Club in April of 2006 after a serving as Internship Director of Coastal Carolina University's Professional Golf Management program.

Tom's teaching philosophy begins with inquiring about the student's own goals for his/her game.  After determining the goals, Tom explains to the student the approach he feels best for the student, given the student's physical ability and time allocated to practice.

Tom focuses on Cause and Effect of the Swing and Ball Flight. The basic fundamentals are the initial focus of most swing changes. Once the best fundamentals are determined, Tom and the student can begin to reach the student's goals.
